I am. Sit back and enjoy a short evening cruise on Table Rock Lake. This was coming back out of the east end, down in Arkansas.

Mmm, nice. I can smell that fire someone had going off in the distance, and feel the warmth of a perfect summer evening.

Well, not really, because I have this stupid head cold and I cant smell anything, and by back aches from coughing all weekend! F%^#ing Winter!!!!! Arrrrgghhhh!

Great video Mike. That's why we keep you around! :D Reminds me of boating with my family when I was a kid-lots of late-evening cruises on the way back in after a fun-filled day on the water.

Not sure of the temp - it was no doubt hot during the day but cooling down nicely during the evening. That was actually shot with my Casio EX-Z750 point & shoot (the one just replaced by a Canon A720 IS). Thanks for the comments! Chris, hang in there - I had a case of bronchitis and general upper respiratory infection that lasted over 2 weeks and I'm still trying to get rid of the last of it. It's one of the worst sicknesses I've ever had and just would NOT let go. At one point I actually thought I may need to be in the hospital it was so bad, but it's on the way out now. This has been a BAD winter for sickness.

+1 - I had pneumonia that took me down the first half of January and I don't ever remember February being this cold.

We're coming in on the home stretch through March, hopefully I'll be able to see my grass by then.

Stay healthy everyone!

Well buoys and girls, I just got tired of looking at my boat in the driveway all winter long. So, I decided to sell it! I placed an ad in Craig's List, and it was gone the next day! That is, my old 18' Maxum that I decided not to trade in. I took my 210SS to the dealer to fix my blistered decals. Should be back in about two weeks....While it's there, I'm gonna order those lighted cup holders I've been talking about!
Thanks for the vid Mike. Not too much longer.

AHhhhsome!!!!

I remember those calm, soothing, nights just floating adrift and watching the sun go down past the horizon.

Thanks for the reminder of what is to come soon.

Thanks Mike! I love that lake. 160 days and I'll be there. My buddy's place is a stone's throw from the Kimberling City bridge, if you know where that is.

Impulse, we slip right around the corner from the 13 bridge, and watched the fireworks from near the bridge a couple of 4ths ago. We usually rent a condo just on the other end of the bridge, so we cross it about 30 times during the week. Does your buddy need anyone to fill a slip for him for a week every summer?

Seriously, if he's got any recommendations for a good, not-too-steep ramp near there, I'd love to hear it. The one issue we have every year is the distance between where we slip and and a suitable ramp - or even finding one at all. There are many ramps, but many of them are either on the sides of cliffs, or not open to the public. The best one I've seen is right across the cove from our slip, at the Port of Kimberling campground. But they won't let us use it. I even offered to pay for a campsite for the week just to use their ramp twice; they refused.
