I Recently purchased a Larson sei226 and noticed the driveshaft boot was ripped. The manual and every thing else I've seen suggests this is an easy project, I took care of the shift cable, took off the six nuts and after several hours of heat, pounding, stud extraction, the outdrive didn't move. We then took off the tilt bracket, got the u joints out, still can't get the transom and the outdrive apart last resort, thinking about putting two slip hooks on the 1/2 twelve point bolts for the tilt and a chain with spreader bar with a jack against the driveshaft end going into the pinion.
