Typically, I run about 3600 3800 RPM's. The boat just seems to run/sound good between 3600 and 3800 RPM's. What is the max you run?

Also, I have a FW 2004 Vista 268. Does anyone get the same specs as advertised in the brochure.

FUEL FLOW DATA - 268 VISTA W/ VP5.7Gi/DP/280/209,
VP5.7OSi/XDP/280/209 & MC350MPI/B3/300/224
3000 rpm 24 mph
3500 rpm 31 mph

I have the same exact boat, GXi 320 hp. I have averaged 6 GPH over 5 1/2 seasons, and burn about 12 GPH at cruise. I think the speeds they spec are a bit high. I also cruise at 3600, unless I have a heavy load and am full of fuel, I'll run closer to 3800.

I have the 5.7 gi-b and run around 3500 rpm with a normal load and 3800-4000 with a full load. My speeds are similar to yours.
