My 3 little projects for the 2006 348 vista are almost done:

1)I made the Corian cockpit table. purchased corian scrap sheet for $150. attached to to my old table with clamps and used router to cut. then glued (with corian adhesive) another border around bottom so it would be 1" thick. routed that and rounded edges. cut 1/2' plywood sheet for bottom, drilled holes and epoxied t-nuts for machine screws. glued to underside with construction adhesive. painted plywood white. sealed gap betwenn plywood/corian with clear silicone. attached leg brackets with machine screws with loctite. polished top with sandpaper, stopped at 320grit because didnt want too smooth. table a little heavier but it is awesome and we love it. family project, my kids helped me sand/paint/assemble!

2)new carpet from snap-in-carpet.com berber is awesome on feet. backing is great. almost perfect color match to interior.

3)removed icemaker. bought new freezer from smallappliances.com for $179 with shipping. medical grade/stainless/ with door lock .. can be freezer or fridge, wide thermostat. draws so little power. had to cut center part away to fit. doors close. gonna finsh off inside when i get chance. prob gonna have storage shelp above freezer. was going to add fans but this thing runs so cool re-thinking that idea. overall so much room inside. can even put frozen pizza if wanted to. we use for ice creams, frozen marianated meats, hotdogs/burgers, and one bag of ice for mixed drinks. we are so happy.

The photos must be saved in jpg format, I think the maximum size is 1024 x 768. If the picture is too large you will get an error message when you preview or submit and this is the first thing to check.
The file must be a jpg - not a jpg contained within a html file.
I post on the free web space provided by my internet provider. I ftp the jpg to the server and create a link to it from the message.

The link will look like this but placed between the Img signs from the tool bar.
http://www.internetaccount.com/myspace/boat.jpg

boat.jpg will be on the server of your service provider, "my space" is whatever your account is called.

Love the table idea - did you do that with standard wood router bits?

Yes it is standard router bits with the exception that I was advised that 4 bladed bits are much better than 2 blade. Higher cutting speeds. but must say it cut like butter! great material. and where you put the glue it ends up showing no visible seam!

Hard part, believe it or not, is finding the material. the manufacturer will not sell it to you. I found a local guy trying to sell his scraps. by the way comes in 30" width and if you turn on an angle you can make this table from that width with out having to glue extra piece.

there is a national site called solidsurface.com. I first tried ordering a piece from them but then they called a few days later and said it had defects. I looked locally and found a guy and bought from him almost half the price.

Wow, it looks great.
I'd like to get my hands on a sheet of that star-board stuff.
