Does anyone know where I can get a cockpit cover for an '88 Vista 245? I got a mooring cover with the boat, but it's pretty beat up not to mention extremely cumbersome, I would much prefer to just use a cockpit cover, but have not had much success locating one.

Your best bet is having one made by a local canvas shop.
