Post subject:  1995 258 Vista with idle problems
Help!!! 1995 Vista with a new 351 long block (5.8L) runs great above a Idle, but when at a idle it goes up & down, then stalls... Checked for vacume leaks with no luck... Changed the Map sensor, throttle bypass, & throttle position senser with no luck. :(

Try the IAC i had a 94 with the same engine and same symptoms its the idle air control valve, although u said u had replaced the throttle bypass hopefully they are not the same thing with different names :shock: i purchased one from advance auto for about 50 bucks and it installs in about 5 minutes
