my hatch window is broke and can not be repaired any idea were I can get one that I dont have to cut the hole bigger I have contacted four winns and they make me go thought a dealer all they have to say is you can cut a hole and put a differnt one in |

I had a similar failure - the hinge separated on one side from the acrylic disk. The hatch became gradually more difficult to open - I believe that was due to the friction brace getting too tight over time, and before I knew that it was adjustable - so I was what ultimately broke the hinge adhesion by forcing the hatch. If that sounds like your failure, it can be repaired by carefully disassembling and removing the brace, disk and hinge, and readhering the hinge to the disk; I used a slow epoxy in a clamp. It has held well for two years or so. |
