Hi, does anyone out here know the height of a 2006 348 vista on a trailer, I need the height to the top of arch not counting any antenna's or electronics. I have a 2000 328 vista with a loadmaster tri-axle trailer that is 13'3" tall on the trailer with the radar arch cleaned off. I would like to know the same for the 2006 348. Thanks , Joe.

I'm sure you need exacts to stay under 13' 6" for Larry the Cable Guy (my biggest fear) but you might be able to compare draft and bridge clearance on both models to tell. Of course it will all depend on where the bunks of the trailer fall on each model, or how they "settle in," so to speak. I have a V298 on a Venture I-beam trailer and I had to shave the bunks down and put a hinged bracket on my radome for transit. I was at 14' 2" before mods and now when I flip the radome I end up at 13' 3" to the top of the GPS and tv antenna.

We have a 2005 348 Vista. We also have a loadmaster tri-axle trailer. To the top of the arch it is 14 feet high.

When I was looking at a used 06 318, I spoke to a rep from phoniex trailers, thats who builds them for FW when they get up in size... not sure why. Fo the 318 the ground to keel height was said to be 21-22 inches. I would guess the 348 is about the same. Not sure if the 06 348 had the folding arech or not. Here is a pic of of a 348 on a trailer along with the 318. The used on I was looking at had a trailer with it, ground to the top of the arch was 14'. I dont think the bunks were adjusted as good as they could have been, but Im not sure I would have pulled 6-7" out of by adjusting the bunks.
