Check the ignition fuse in the fuse panel, if this is blown or corroded you will have no crank and no power to gauges either. Happened to me this spring (fuse was oxidized from years of salt air exposure). It really could be anything in the engine cranking circuit. Make sure the shift control is in NEUTRAL, if you shut off the engine in gear and did not shift back to NEUTRAL it will not crank, because of the safety switch in the shift control.
