I was just out looking over the boat after good rain here last night and noticed a black plug on the rear bottom of boat that I'd not noticed before. It's roughly 3" in diameter(hard plastic) and in the center/ starboard back of the boat, on bottom, about 2' in from the outdrive. Is this a mold pour plug or? |

Yep...... Quote: Thru-hull transducers are mounted through a hole drilled in the bottom of the boat and protrude directly into the water. This type of transducer generally provides the best performance. Thru-hull transducers must be positioned in front of the propeller, rudder, keel or anything else that may create turbulence. They must be mounted in a position that is always underwater and angled straight down.
