Well take #2 at boat pickup tomorrow, hope this goes smoother then the last fiasco.

I will be spending quite a bit of time looking over this boat, before taking delivery. It will be good to get it home, and better when its on the water.

Time to train the wife on the launch and pickup procedure. Reminds me of taking my buddies out with the old boat the first time, i tell one guy to hold the bow line, and one guy to hold the stern line while i pull out and put the truck away. I even go so far as to hand them the lines. so there i am, i pull the trailer out of the water only to see the boat drifting off with no one holding any ropes. I think this is about as close as i have seen anyone else do it.

Good luck.

If it's decent out on Saturday, we'll be out on Nagawicka fishing & using a little gas. I want to get out again before I haul up north next weekend.

I wish we could go out this weekend on a test run, as we are headed north over memorial day weekend as well.

I doubt it 'll be warm, but it will still be fun - have a safe trip as well.

good luck with the pickup!

as for the wife, mine tought herself last year (1st boat for both of us). she's a rock star at it after a few trips out. she can load it better than me. funny to watch her bark those on board around to not move here or stay there or move here.

we've had some crazy moments for sure but i'm so glad we took the time and patients to learn it well (with no divorce!!!). now we can launch and load in no time.

i tell you the boat ramp is a DAMN FINE PLACE to see just how strong some marriages are....lol

TADA, all went well. They didnt do the greatest cleanup job, but even at that, the boat just looked good. I'll clean 'r up good this week and it will be looking beautifull.

Will post pictures soon.

I big Thanks to all those here that help me pick the right boat and get through the troubling boat switcharoo times.

Hurray! :D

'Bout time  .

Seriously, congratulations. That has to be a major relief after all the trouble you went through. I bet you're glad now that you didn't settle for the first one.
