So I had an idea for a winter project. The walkthru space is kinda wasted space and what boat doesn't need more cooler space!??!?!? I don't know how many hours I have in this project and I probably could have purchased a true Yeti cooler for the cost of the materials alone that I purchased but a Yeti wouldn't have fit in this space.

Nice Work.

Seems like you might need something to keep your cooler from sliding aft.

may i suggest some of that rubber ball sheets that go in tool boxes. its about $6 a roll at the big box store. should do the trick.

That's a terrible idea.... :P <joking>.

I already have some cut and under it :) Not to mention the cooler's shape will only allow it to slide back about 2" total (it can't slide out because of the 'diamondish' shape - and I'm pretty sure that's a real word  )

I like it! AAMOF, I'm afraid others would too, so much so it'd disappear ;). Now if I can just figure out where Jdpber lives and when he'll be boating next. I like the strategic location of the trash receptacle too :P

Boat project equals trash. Swim platform equals roof. trash can under roof equals dry. Dry trash equals does not smell like wet dog that rolled in rotten fish.

Cooler is only attached when boating. The theft ratio of stuff attached to boats in my lake is Zero. Because the average lot price is in the 6 figures. This is not a cheap lake. Hell I live 2 miles off of the lake and still get shafted with the premium location tax by the county.

Umm dig up some pictures of the castles that are on the lake it is silly what some people have as vacation homes here.
