Got it, thanks MNG. Everything as expected - with exception to the exportation declaration/US customs. Boats / trailers they don't seem to care about (self propelled vehicles only) but as is often the case - if I don't do it I will likely be the one who gets hauled aside. Got plenty of time yet so I figure may as well go ahead and do it to be safe. I was prepped to pay my "N.S. Privilege of Spending Whats Left of My Money Tax" when crossing into N.B.
I Figured CCRA collected for the Provinces as well as the "Federal Privilege of Spending What We Let You Keep of Your Hard Earned Money Tax" at the same time. Suppose that doesent make sense if you think about it.
Guess I will just pay the "Privilege of Having Your Name Printed on Paper With - What What We Made You Pay For The Privalage of Purchasing - With What We Let You Keep of Your Hard Earned Money Tax"
Sorry for the hijack and rant Steve but it is tax time and I had to vent. Love the boat. Red canvas looks slick.

Slight delay. Dealer found a minor gelcoat scratch (4" long) and insisted they fix it correctly prior to delivery. I was impressed they let me know what they found before they fixed it and sent me photos to show the exact issue.

Looks like next Friday for pick-up. Just as well as the weather here is supposed to be crappy through the weekend.

Another week will inevitably feel like an eternity.

Steve

Yes, but you should take a LOT of comfort from the fact that your dealer is taking care of you and doing it proactively. Many folks would give their eye teeth for that.

I'm on my second boat from Winnisquam, as is my sister. We also have it serviced there every year. You will not regret buying from them!

And... sweet boat!

Hey H180... I actually talked to Ryan today (about a couple other things) - but he did mention your boat. He was super bummed about finding the scratch - but they won't ever deliver a boat or try to "hide" the scratch or fix it half a$$.

Flying Sushi actually had his boat delivered and Ryan sent it straight back to the factory because of some questionable workmanship! At least you don't have that level of issue!

One more week - but they'll fix it correctly... and considering they just pulled the factory shrink wrap off it - we can thank the QC team at the assembly line for that one. :D

It's still April... one more week just gives you more accessories to purchase in preparation!

The ice will be gone on south side of Winnisquam lake by next weekend so you might be able to take her out when you pick the boat up. As a part of delivery process they will spend a good amount of time both land and water to go over everything on your new boat and trailer. Great service they offer. As Cougar said my new boat had a little issue but they took care of everything and made sure I was satisfied with my new purchase.
You will have a great season for sure!

H180! Hey H180 - So, how did it go? Did you get the 220, wheres the pics? Impatient, I know. Just looking for some new rigs to start popping up around here since it doesn't look like I will get to go for another 3 weeks - have to go to Aberdeen for work. Argh, it finally stopped raining and is getting nice around here.

Looks sharp !! but all you guys out there showing off your red boats aren't helping here. I still have to wait another 2 months before I order my RED with silver titanium graphic H180.Anyway congrats on the new boat and I will go back to chanting "I must not covet,I must not covet etc etc.

Good taste in boats!! (Because I think it is exactly like my 2007 220H  ) Mine is the same shocking red color. When I called the dealer to find out what colors they had left in the 220H, I was hoping for something other than red. That is until I saw it at the marina.

I'm glad I got the red one and don't think I'd be as happy with any other color. I keep trying to buy accessories to match the red, like beach towels, jackets, etc. I never knew I loved red so much!!
