Cross your fingers. I think I'm going to try this project tomorrow afternoon. The replacement dash has been sitting in the box all winter waiting for the boat to come out of storage. I'll take pix and notes as I go to help others who are going to make the switch. Wish me luck!

Did they tell you it won't work unless you also replace the bow light?

Dave,

If your speedometer doesn't behave like you think it should, don't forget the little adjustments on the back of the gauge.

At what point did you decide to change out? I am having issues with my oil psi, have changed sending unit and switch. My trim, speedo also seem to be erratic. Does this fix these issues, or do I have another problem? By the way I have a 2001 230 horizon with the 5.7 Volvo DP.

Still sitting in the box waiting for me to get around to it. So far only thing not working is my spedo, and my GPS has one of those so I'm not in a big hurry. I like the look of the new one, but not enough to spend the time putting it in. (plus I'm kinda chicken...)

When the old gauges fail do they all go out or is it more like one or two of the functions fail? My oil psi and trim are the only ones that seem to be having issues.

I am under the impression you have to order from a dealer.

The replacement dashes are no longer available. Only thing they offer now is you have your current dash sent out and repaired. $350 is the quote I received and that is only for the dash fix. No removal or reinstall of it.

Hello, I have a 1999 Four Winns Sundowner 245. Love the boat, but don't care for the VDO display and parts of it no longer works. I would love to convert to the standard guages if they are still available. I don't have a FW Dealer in my town, so I contacted one out of Pueblo, CO and they gave me part #025-3119, but said it's no longer avail. This is the same part I see all of you reference, but I don't have a wrap-around display like your pictures. Therefore, I'm thinking there's a different upgrade model and was wondering if anyone had this. If FW no longer sells, does anyone else know where I can get one. Does Faria sell them direct? I'm also looking for a new dash shroud, but I'm told this part is no longer offered as well. I know they used his part through 2001 models, so I'm surprised that FW would not support parts for more than 10 years. Kind of disappointing, especially since that's the timeframe you might see something like this would need to be replaced. Will post a picture of my dash once I figure out how to.

I would appreciate anyone's help or insight! Russ
