We put 20 hours on the meter at the end of the season. We knew that by keeping the boat 2 1/2 hours from home we might get less time, but our time was better quality. It made us get away for an entire weekend.
Also, when we bought the boat it only had 60 hours. For a 12 year old boat that averages 5 hours a year. So our 20 hours in one year was a change for the boat! I am very happy that we did not have any mechanical issues at all. The engine would stutter coming up on plane for the first tank of gas but after that it ran great.
Now I just hope next year has better weather!
