Did you put in new leaf springs or just paint the originals? I just cut off my old rusted disc brakes and researching their replacements. Looking forward to see more of your progress. |

Easy to do, just a pain. You may need to change the actuator out too. The one on my trailer is only for disc not drum brakes. |

Road-tested the Kodiak discs today. Awesome!!!!!!!!! There was no boat behind me anymore!!! Just wish the boat would have cooperated................... |

When I put on a new set of springs, I coat em in marine grease and then spray em with Boeshield or Corrosion X HD every season, I have not had rusting problems even in salt water. I might do disc brakes if I ever up grade my trailer axle... |
