If you have a Holley 2bbl on the VP its fairly easy to install a Holley 4160 or even a 4175 spread bore 4bbl. The 4160 is a square bore carb and requires an adapter to work on the spread bore 4bbl intake that is commonly available. The 4175 is a spread bore carb so no adapter needed. Adding EFI sounds great but if you run into troubles do you have any local support for the Holley EFI system? I'd ask around before investing in it. Most any hot rod shop will know people who can work on Holley carbs, they are about the most common carb in the aftermarket that there is, followed by the Edelbrock.

First see what manifold your engine has, some have a standard 2bbl intake, some use a 4bbl with an adapter for the 2bbl carb. Then, you have to see if the 4bbl mounting is for a square bore or a spread bore. If its a square bore you can use the Holley 4160 or the Edelbrock, Holley would be easier because the throttle hook up is probably the same as the 2bbl. If its a spread bore intake, then you can use the 4160 with an adapter or the spread bore 4175.
