I have not seen any alternatives in the aftermarket for Volvo or Merc cat exhaust. Not sure if its a patent issue or not, but the OEM price on these is just obscene. Enough to push me away from inboards and to outboards! I'm not paying $5000 to redo exhaust every 5-7 years here. I use Barr aftermarket and get the whole kit for $725 or so.
